Institute of Contemporary Indian Art (ICIA)
ICIA was set up under the SAFSET Group in January 2007 with a focus to generate awareness for Indian Art. ICIA is the largest grass root private venue in Mumbai located in the heart of the art district Kala Ghoda spread over three floors, the venue is a platform to exhibit four museum quality shows every year for collectors and art lover to view private collections of some of the most renowned artist which cannot be seen by the pubic due to the shortage of the museum space within India. ICIA acts as the venue which plays the role in between a commercial gallery and a nonprofit museum that helps to show case individual collections for art lovers.
ICIA has exhibited several masters which no other single venue or organizations has been able to achieve with in India. Some of the names include solo exhibitions of art works by M.F.Husain, S.H.Raza, Ram Kumar, Jogen Chowdhury, Anjolie Ela Menon, Bikash Bhattacharya, Paresh Maity and many more.
ICIA mission is to curate select exhibitions of outstanding artworks by Indian moderns as well as contemporary artist for people across all genres and age groups to view and appreciate.
